12 botanicals are steeped in 96% pure alcohol. After a maceration period, the botanicals are sieved out and the Gin is diluted to 40% ABV, and filtered 3 times through active carbon.
Botanicals used: Juniper berries, Coriander seeds, Angelica root, Orris root, Cassia root, Liquorice, Cardamom pods, Lemon Grass, Vanilla pods, Black peppercorns, Pink grapefruit peel and Bergamot peel.
It's the Bergamot that gives Couyon Gin its distinct flavour.
